It is a non surgical minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of radicular pain due to disc herniations or disco-osteophytes under fluorospic examination. A spinal needle is inserted transforaminally to the epidural space where radicular root is compressed. After confirmation by radiocontrast injection, a mixture of streoid and lidocain is injected to decrease to edema of root.
