I was born in Balıkesir in 1963. I graduated from Gülhane Military Medical School in 1987. I became a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist in 1994. I worked at Bursa Military Hidroclimatology Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital for two years. I attended to Gülhane Military Medical Academy Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department as Assistant Professor in 1996. I became University Associate Professor at 1999 and attended to Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitation and Care Center at 2000. I attended at Professor in the same department and hospital at 2005.
I became an algology specialist at 2011. I am a certified kinesio taping instructor since 2014.
I am interested in pain medicine, ozone therapy, invasive algological interventions, ozone injections, kinesio taping and manual therapy. I am also instructor at Turkish Health Ministry Ozone Courses.
I am a member of International Society of Spinal Cord Injury (ISCoS) and International Society of Prosthesis and Orthosis (ISPO). I am also member of Turkish Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association, Turkish League Against Rheumatism, Spinal Cord Diseases Association, Turkish Scientific Association of Prosthesis and Orthosis.
I am also part time lecturer at METU on disability and health policy.
I am the founder of Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitation Disabled Sports Team and amputee football in Turkey.
